A while ago I wrote that I was working on a movie and the Pre-production that goes along with it. Today the hell that is called pre-production officially ended. It's not completely finished, there's still 2 parts to be cast and props to be collected. But according to the planning we start filming next wednesday.
Holding auditions, arranging locations, revising the screenplay, emailing the participants and making a production book, are just some of the things me and my team did these last eight weeks. The last few days have been full of breakdown sheets and call sheets. Luckely it's almost over. Next week we start filming the first scene's in our nations capital, Amsterdam. If everything goes according to plan we will need 6 days of filming and we will be finished the 28th of November. I'll show some stills as soon as I can.

Keep ya Fingers Dusty
Just got back from the spot, Vintage Hunting and all! "MC fuzzy wake-up" picked me up in the cinquecento and we headed down to the vintage graveyard where the attic is made out of vinyl. After about an half hour of dust inhalation we were dehydrated (partially from last night) so we took off. With the dust still on our fingers we cruised home. But off course we didn't go empty handed. This is what I found on my expedition.

Midnite Sessions!!
While Mesdemoiselles was enjoying HudMo @ Trouw and glittering with her girlfriends, I was enjoying a good old fashion time at De Pul. It was time for another edition of Villa 13, and this time with a pretty interesting and very enjoyable line-up. Villa 13 stands for, local bands getting a chance to perform at a local venue, De Pul! My second home from home..! This Villa was packed with U-Town latest sensations, such as Victoria´s Secret, El Chupacabra and my personal favorite The Final Arrow.

The Final Arrow consists of 4 bandmembers. Fersy van der Zee (guitar), Mounir Chadli (guitar), Wesley Bersi (bass), Wessel Kuijpers "Yeah I spelled your name right this time"(drums). I attended one of their rehearsels a couple of weeks ago, for a possible artwork cooperation (which I still wanna be part of, in any ways guys!) I was very impressed by their unique sound and to be honest it gave me chills down my spine.
Villa 13
About threehundredfifty people assembled for this edition of Villa 13, which is quite a large crowd. The Final Arrow was the third band in the line-up of the evening. Their live show consisted of 4 tracks of about 10 minutes each. I was working during the whole show, but fortunaly my favorite vrijwilligers begeleider contacted me in the morning to snare me in to the position of bartender near the stage. So I could see the whole show together with.., who else would I share a bar with but! So I was being punished to a night of .... and useless ....! Which actually wasn't a punishment after all. Anyways, the live show of The Final Arrow went A-ok and caused chills down my spine once again.
Besides what they called 'a massive mistake' themselves, and of course Ad Ketchup who stagedived to flatline in the crowd, It was all good!

Foto: Willem Kuijpers
After the clean up, Bam-A-Lot, Metal Schmetal and me hooked up for some after brewsky's and laughter. Kijkomhoogsammie might even have a picture or two of it. So check them blogs regularly!
That's it for the night session, It's way to late to continue!!

Again and again
The rough (mostly drunk) weekends just keep on going these days. Last saturday my main man Bam-A-Lot was celebrating his 21st birthday by going to Doornroosje for some glitch, beats, beers and laughs. You can read all about it on his blog. There's no need to tell the same story twice and he can tell it like no other. Or maybe it's because I just don't know the whole story anymore. So just take your cursor and click click.

This is what I encountered on my way back early in the morning. Zeg Jeej!!! to T-Moon for taking the shot.
