NFF09

Today I'm gonna go to Utrecht for the annual film festival. It's the twenty ninth edition of the Dutch film festival. I bought two tickets to go see "Het leven uit een dag" written an directed by Mark de Cloe. I'm really exited to go to the NFF for the first time. I've got some good company to make it a day not to forget. Here's the trailer of the film that i'm visiting today. Tomorrow my and my class are going to see two more films. "Angst" by Michiel van Erp and "Lover of Loser" by the book of Carry Slee. A lot of the films from the festival are also being aired on tv. Yesterday I watched "Duska", a great film by Jos Stelling. There's almost no dialogue in the whole movie and it still doesn't get boring. Great shots, good acting and a supreme screenplay. Definitely one to watch. That's it for now, I'm of to Utrecht!!

Beat Dimensions!!!

Excitement all around!!! I'm listening to the newly released Beat Dimensions compilation. It's the second volume that's been produced by a collective of producers from all over the world. The selection of beats is exquisite! Cinnaman and Jay Scarlett created another volume that features some of the most fattest beatstrumentals I've heard until now.

Volume 1 was brought to my attention by who else but Bam-A-Lot of course. Like the first one, the second volume has also been released on CD and on three 12" inches. My personal favorite "The Sound" by Danny Breaks, is also nr. 1 at Nalden.net. free listening for all y'all!
